about

Written and recorded March 14, 2014

St. Francis of Assisi began the tradition of the Stations of the Cross, which is a way of reflecting upon the Passion of Christ. Many years ago I had the idea to write a song to reflect on each station. This is my first successful attempt. I give you a raw, hot of the press, recording of this song based on Jesus being condemned to death.

lyrics

my enemies surround me
where have my friends gone
everyone condemns me
but what have i done wrong

whom shall i fear?
of whom shall i be afraid?

i can hear their chanting
their cries for blood
they know not what they're asking
but i'll do it for love

whom shall i fear?
of whom shall i be afraid?
I am courageous

there's nobody with power
except that from above
and it's that power
which comes from love

whom shall i fear?
of whom shall i be afraid?
I am courageous
